Pursuant to legislation in the 2023 General Assembly, the Board adopted a formulary and best practices for midwife administration of certain medications. The formulary was adopted by the Board of Medicine on August 4, 2023, and is effective immediately. Read the Midwifery formulary and best practices for administration of medication.
