The Virginia Board of Dentistry (Board) will not communicate with anyone besides the applicant for applications that are submitted to the Board. The Board will not communicate with third parties about an applicant's status with the Board. Applicant information is considered confidential. If an applicant would like to check the status of the application (if you applied and paid the fee online), you may view the status of your application by going to https://www.license.dhp.virginia.gov/apply/login.aspx and entering the User ID and Password that you initially created to start the application process. For applicants who submitted a paper application with the fee, you may contact the Board by email at bodlicensing@dhp.virginia.gov or call (804) 367-4538.
