The Department of Health Professions investigates complaints about Virginia healthcare practitioners who may have violated a regulation or law.
Examination Administration Changes Coming March 2025
In March 2025, ASWB will be returning to Pearson VUE for examination. The fees, exam questions, and scoring will remain the same.
Note to Board Approved Supervisors
The Code of Virginia § 54.1-3705 grants the Board of Social Work the power and duty to maintain on the Board's website a list of the names and contact information of persons currently approved by the Board to supervise candidates for licensure as a clinical social worker.
