The Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP) values and appreciate its Supplier community! Below are valuable resources for doing business in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

Ready to do Business?

 

Step 1: Get Registered - eVA - Virginia's eProcurement Portal 

DHP is mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia to accomplish its procurement transactions by employing the eVA electronic procurement system to ensure transparency in spend reporting to the public. In order to comply, the Agency requires Procurement suppliers to register with eVA.   

 

Step 2 : Supplier Training 

Visit the eVA supplier page for tutorials and resource guides to help grow your business opportunities with the Commonwealth of Virginia.  The Agency will not award a term contract to an eVA un-registered vendor. Suppliers can visit theVirginia Business Opportunities page for information on solicitation opportunities with DHP and other state agencies.   

 

Step 3: Get Paid 

Suppliers may be paid by: 

* Suppliers must complete a Commonwealth of Virginia Substitute W-9 and submit to procurement@dhp.virginia.gov Payment terms are Net 30, in accordance with the Virginia Procurement Act "Prompt Payment" Act.

The Department of Health Professions has established a goal to maximize use of a diverse supplier base. The current goal is 42% of discretionary spend with Virginia certified small, woman-owned and minority-owned businesses. Certification is regulated by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD).
