Next Renewal Date For All Social Work Licenses: June 30

Please note: Continued competency requirements are required prior to licensure renewal in even years.

The Virginia Board of Social Work has implement an initiative to “Go Green” which requires licensees to renew online. Paper Renewal Notices are no longer mailed by the Board. Email renewal notices will be sent to all licensees at least 45-60 days prior to the renewal deadline.
