The Journal of Nursing Regulation released its signature report, the 2024 National Nursing Workforce Survey, which is a multi-state collaboration effort including contribution from DHP’s Healthcare Workforce Development Center staff. The report aligns closely with trends in Virginia’s nursing workforce.
According to the Workforce Survey, the findings provide critical insight into the demographic and practice profiles of the nation’s nursing workforce in 2024 and, in doing so, inform both state and national policy. The purpose of the report is to provide accurate and reliable data to support sustainable nursing workforce planning and thereby ensure a safe and effective healthcare system.
