School Psychologist & School Psychologist-Limited Applicants

The Licensed School Psychologist is a psychologist who, by education and experience, is professionally qualified at the autonomous practice level to provide testing and measuring, counseling, consultation, and development of programs. Supervised post degree experience is a prerequisite for licensure. You can apply for licensure as a School Psychologist by Examination, by Endorsement and/or apply for a residency.

The Licensed School Psychologist-Limited is a psychologist who, by education and experience, is professionally qualified at the autonomous practice level to provide the following only in public school settings: testing and measuring, counseling, consultation, and development of programs. Holding a license as a school psychologist-limited does not authorize a person to practice outside of a school setting unless they hold an additional license authorizing them to do so. You can apply for licensure by application.

It is strongly recommended that you review the Regulations Governing the Practice of Psychology and the School Psychologist & School Psychologist-Limited Licensure Process Handbook before submitting an application.
