Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) - Applicants

The Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) is a social worker who engages in the practice of social work under the supervision of a master social worker and provides basic generalist services, including casework management and supportive services and consultation and education. You can apply to be a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker by Examination or by Endorsement. This license is not a prerequisite for clinical licensure.

It is strongly recommended that you review the Regulations Governing the Practice of Social Work and the  LBSW Licensure Process Handbook before submitting an application.
