In accordance with Executive Order Number Thirty-Seven (2024) and the state of emergency issued by the Governor of Virginia on September 25, 2024 for those affected by Hurricane Helene, the Board of Dentistry may grant a renewal extension upon individual request for licenses and registrations expiring between September 25 and November 9, 2024. A licensee having evidence of being Virginia resident of a jurisdiction affected by Hurricane Helene, including Grayson, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe counties, and the City of Galax, may request a renewal extension by emailing bodlicensing@virginia.gov and putting “Renewal Extension Request” in the subject line.
