Application Wizard- Advanced Registered Medication Aide

You may qualify for an Advanced Registration as a Medication Aide by initial application.

If you hold both a current Virginia certification as a certified nurse aide and as a registered medication aide or be eligible for endorsement as a registered medication aide, and

Have successfully completed a minimum of 60 hours of advanced training in a nursing facility that includes population and medication specific training

What you need in order to apply:

• Review the Laws and Regulations governing the practice of Medication Aides
• Read the Application Instructions carefully before proceeding with an application.

If you do not hold both a current Virginia certification as a certified nurse aide and as a registered medication aide and are not eligible for endorsement as a registered medication aide than you are not qualified to apply as an Advanced Registered Medication Aide.
