This page includes information intended for administration, faculty, and staff of Virginia’s approved medication aide education programs and those wishing to establish a medication aide education program. Be advised the Virginia Board of Nursing does not regulate nor approve out of state or post licensure medication aide training programs.

Regulatory Review for Administrators and Instructors of Medication Aide Training Programs

Medication aide training program administrators and instructors are encouraged to attend this session to assist in the understanding of regulatory compliance. Program staff are also welcome.

The seminar will:

• Review regulations for approved medication aide education programs.
• Review the process for applicants to register for testing.
